The PRAYER PALS PROJECT

The RTUC congregation is connecting via snail mail! 

Here’s a brief description of what this project is all about:

Who: All members of the RTUC congregation are invited to participate?

What: Participants will be filling out a postcard (with words of encouragement, prayer needs, or just a brief, fun-filled note) and sending it to their “Prayer Pal” in the mail.

When: We hope to start the first round in early fall 2021.

Where: Postcards will be sent to your home address so you can fill them out with ease.

Why: Our goal is to connect members of Roseland-Trinity via lettermail during the pandemic and beyond.

How: If you wish to participate, contact the church and we will get you started.

Already signed up to be a Prayer Pal but unsure what to include on your first postcard? 

Here are some ideas to start with:

– Share an inspiring scripture, a quote, or a joke.

– Include a treasured recipe.

– List your favourite activities or hobbies.

– Mention any joys, concerns, or prayer requests.

– Draw something or doodle on the card to add an extra touch of personality!
